Minenräumung im Nordkaukasus

Die Pioniertruppen in Tschetschenien und Inguschetien hätten den Jahresplan zur Minenräumung vollständig ausgeführt, berichtet die Nachrichtenseite Kavpolit. Dem Bericht zufolge seien ca. 2,5 Tausend Hektar landwirtschaftlicher Grundstücke von Minen und nicht explodierten Geschossen gereinigt worden, darunter auch Bergregionen, die über 2000 Meter hoch gelegen sind. Die Pioniertruppen hätten dabei zirka 8000 explosive Gegenstände unschädlich gemacht. Meistens handelte es sich dabei um Artilleriegranaten, Infanterieminen und Handgranaten. Ungefähr 300 Spezialisten seien vor Ort zum Einsatz gekommen.
