Kadyrov Foundation donated armoured SUVs to Donbas separatist leaders

The head of Chechnya said that the regional public fund named after Akhmat Kadyrov, headed by his mother, Aimani Kadyrova, purchased armoured vehicles for the heads of the self-proclaimed Lugansk and Donetsk "people's republics," as well as for the commander of the Sparta separatist battalion. The financing of the Kadyrov Foundation has previously raised questions from the media and human rights activists since its activities are extremely non-transparent.

Ramzan Kadyrov wrote about the gift to the leaders of the separatists of Donbas in his telegram channel. He said that the armoured vehicles were handed over by Ruslan Gonchaev, a representative of Chechnya in the Rostov region.

"A pleasant moment for me was a letter of thanks from the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, in which he expresses gratitude for the assistance provided," Kadyrov wrote.

The Chechen opposition movement 1ADAT explained Kadyrov's gift to the leaders of the separatists in Ukraine, the desire of the head of Chechnya to promote himself on the topic of war.

“Just the other day, Kadyrov ordered officials to demand that people sow gardens to feed themselves, and today we see how he gives cars to some terrorists and former swindlers. Well, what can I say? Kadyrov has now become a terrorist blogger who the blood of the Ukrainian people is hyped," the opposition movement speaker said.
