Kadyrov's Press Secretary: "Mobilization in Chechnya has not been canceled"

Ilman Vakhidov, the Press Secretary of the head of Chechnya, said that the news about the cancellation of mobilization in Chechnya was distributed not by Russian media, not by our republican ones, but by opposition-minded publications and telegram channels.

According to Vakhidov, only the one who announced it could cancel the mobilization - this is the Supreme Commander - and there can be no self-cancellation in the regions. Vakhidov claims that Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya, who announced on September 22 that mobilization would not be carried out in Chechnya, meant that there was no need to mobilize an additional number of citizens because even before this whole process in the republic, a sufficient number of fighters have mobilized.

Ilman Vakhidov added that the number of Chechen military personnel who took part in the invasion of Ukraine is several thousand people, which is two and a half times higher than the quota. "There are mobilized people; there are quite a lot of them, and if necessary, there will be more mobilized people," he summed up.

Ramzan Kadyrov awarded the separatist leader of the Donetsk People's Republic with the highest order of Chechnya

Ramzan Kadyrov signed a decree awarding Denis Pushilin, the de-facto head of the separatists of the so-called Donetsk People's Republic, the highest order of the federal republic, Akhmat Kadyrov (the name of his father). The decree said he was awarded the order for personal merits in maintaining peace and strengthening Russian statehood.

Earlier, in August, Kadyrov and Leonid Pasechnik, the head of the separatist Luhansk People's Republic, exchanged the highest awards. In March, Pushilin awarded the head of Chechnya with the Order of Friendship of the so-called Donetsk People's Republic, which is among the highest awards of the separatists but is not the main one.

The Order, named after Akhmat Kadyrov, was established in 2004. It is awarded for outstanding services to the federal republic. The 55-gram order is made of gold 750 and decorated with rubies, sapphires, and diamonds. Kadyrov bestowed such an award, for example, on his eldest daughter, Aishat, who holds the post of Minister of Culture of the Federal Republic.
