Kremlin: "We Are Ready to Organize Another Meeting between Pashinyan and Aliyev"

On December 7, Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary of the President of Russia, said that Moscow is ready to assist in every possible way with the next meeting of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan on Russian territory.

In response to a question from journalists, the Kremlin representative commented on the possibility of another meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Russia before the end of the year. "Russia, of course, will be ready to provide all necessary assistance to host such a meeting on its territory," Peskov stressed.

At the same time, he did not rule out that contact between Yerevan and Baku at the highest political level could take place on the sidelines of the traditional informal summit of the CIS countries in St. Petersburg.

"There is an idea to hold such a pre-New Year meeting at the CIS summit in St. Petersburg. After the agreements are synchronized, we will make a corresponding announcement. "If there is understanding, we will inform you," Peskov summed up.
