On December 11, on behalf of Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya, employees of all law enforcement agencies of the federal republic are conducting raids in the wake of the incident that took place the day before in Urus-Martan.

Earlier, several residents of Urus-Martan committed aggressive actions in response to the legitimate demands of an employee of the state traffic inspectorate.

According to Idris Cherkhigov, the head of the Department of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Chechen Federal Republic, about 500 law enforcement officers are involved in the search for offenders.

The head of Chechnya commented on the mass brawl involving law enforcement officers and youth and addressed the participants in the incident. "It seems very difficult for some people to remain Chechens, preserving our traditional and religious values: decency, courtesy, respect, patience. Anything can be expected from such people. We will conduct effective educational and explanatory work with them," Kadyrov added. He denied rumors that one of the conflict's parties was National Guard personnel. According to him, there were no active servicemen among the rioters. "The fight involved reservists who could be hired on the condition that they passed the standards and the availability of jobs," he said.

"Those who were there and surrounded the traffic police officer, from tomorrow morning, there will be employees of all Chechen Republic special forces. Either come and present your claims to them; you want to fight, or we will gather all of you and send you to the territory of the special military operation," Kadyrov stated.
