Export georgischer Weine um 27 Prozent gewachsen

Georgien habe laut der georgischen Nationalen Weinagentur in den ersten fünf Monaten des Jahres 2018 31,5 Millionen Flaschen Wein in 46 Länder exportiert, berichtet AGENDA. Im Januar-Mai 2018 erwirtschaftete Georgien rund 75,3 Mio. USD durch den Verkauf von Wein ins Ausland. Der Weinagentur zufolge stieg der Umsatz von Januar bis Mai 2018 um 36 Prozent und das Exportvolumen um 27 Prozent. Laut besagter Pressemeldung ist das Wachstum des Exports in folgende Länder besonders bemerkenswert: Japan (+186 %), Großbritannien (+109 %), Tschechische Republik (+87 %), Südkorea (+76 %) und Deutschland (+51 %).
