Gazprom to Supply Up To 1 Billion Cubic Meters of Gas to Azerbaijan
According to the new contract on November 18, the Russian company Gazprom will supply up to 1 billion cubic meters of gas to Azerbaijan by March 2023.
Armenia to receive Russian gas through Azerbaijan for three weeks
On 17 March, the Russian business daily Kommersant reported with reference to Gazprom Export that Russian natural gas will be temporarily shipped to Armenia through Azerbaijan due to the repair of a section of the North Caucasus-Transcaucasia gas pipeline.

Russia rejects Armenia’s appeal over gas prices
On 19 May, Vladimir Putin dismissed the idea of forming a common tariff on transportation and transit of natural gas within the EAEU. Prior to Putin’s statement, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stressed that a single energy market with non-discriminatory principles of operation should become one of the bases for integration into the EAEU.

Lavrov said that when the gas price for Armenia and Belarus was set lower than the market one, everyone took it for granted. “And no one said that it was politics. Everyone was saying that it should be so,” he stated.

On 1 April, Armenia's national Russian-owned natural gas distributing company Gazprom-Armenia said it will ask the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) to allow it to revise the prices of natural gas supplied to various categories of consumers.

On 31 March, Armenia's Vice Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan wrote a letter to Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller, suggesting to renegotiate the existing gas price.

Earlier, Gazprom Export LLC and Gazprom Armenia CJSC signed an additional agreement to the contract for the supply of Russian gas to the Republic of Armenia. In accordance with the agreement, from January 1, 2020, the gas price on the border of Georgia and Armenia will remain at the 2019 amount.
