The event was attended by Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, Rumen Radev of Bulgaria, Ursula von der Leyden of the European Commission, Kadri Simson of the European Union (EU), Stevo Pendarovski of the Republic of North Macedonia, Aleksandar Vučić of Serbia, and Kyriakos Mitsotakis of Greece, Romanian Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă, and ICGB executive directors Teodora Georgieva and George Satlas.

On September 30, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in Bulgaria for an official visit, the Press Office of the Azerbaijani President reported. President Ilham Aliyev was met by high-ranking state and government officials of Bulgaria. On the same day, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev held a tet-a-tet meeting in Sofia. After that, the presidents held an expanded meeting in Sofia.

Trial supply of Azerbaijani gas from Greece to Bulgaria begins

Huseyn Huseynov, the Azerbaijani ambassador to Bulgaria, said that through the Komotini-Stara Zagora interconnector (IGB), a test transport of Azerbaijani gas from Greece to Bulgaria has begun. According to Huseynov, a trial delivery of natural gas from that country is anticipated to arrive by the end of June. The supply of the agreed-upon volumes would begin on July 1.
