Deputy Commander of the US Army in Europe and Africa Visits Azerbaijan

General Michael Wickman, Deputy Commander of the US Army in Europe and Africa and National Guard Major, was on a visit to Azerbaijan. According to the information released by the US Embassy on July 26, Michael Wickman discussed the strengthening of bilateral cooperation with Azerbaijan in military medicine and cyber security within the framework of the State Partnership Program.

A delegation headed by Major General Michael Wickman, Deputy Commander of the Ground Forces National Guard of the US Ground Forces Europe and Africa Command, visited Baku within the framework of support for the bilateral military cooperation between the US and Azerbaijan and the "Partnership with the State Program." They visited the military unit and the Medical Department of the Ministry of Defense.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, during the meetings, parties exchanged views on military cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States, as well as issues of mutual interest within the framework of activities involving the "Partnership Program with the State" with the state of Oklahoma.
