On October 22, "Eternity-2022" computer-assisted Command and Staff Exercises started in Turkey with the participation of servicemen from Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey, the Press Office of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported.
Tasks on organizing the protection of strategically important regional economic projects will be fulfilled during the exercises held with the participation of service members and representatives of relevant government agencies.
The international exercises conducted to strengthen cooperation and ensure interoperability between the Armed Forces of the three countries will last until October 28.
As previously reported by Caucasus Watch, the joint exercise "Caucasian Eagle 2022" started in Georgia on October 11 with the participation of military personnel of the special operations forces of Georgia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan. This year the training is hosted by Georgia. According to the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, the purpose of the training is to deepen the synchronization and coordination of special forces capabilities by the special operations units of the Defense Forces of Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey, as well as to share experience, increase interoperability and improve management and control in a multinational environment.
