Pashinyan Pays Working Visit to Russia and Meets Putin

On September 6, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrived on a working visit to the Russian city Vladivostok. The Head of the Armenian Government took part in the plenary session of the 7th Eastern Economic Forum themed "On the road to a multipolar world" in Vladivostok, which was held with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Heads of State of other countries. A day earlier, the Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan, who was in Moscow on a working visit, met with Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov.

Ararat Mirzoyan: "Position of Armenian Side regarding Five Provisions Proposed by Azerbaijan Has Not Changed"

"Not listening or trying not to listen to this position gives the Armenian side a reason to question the sincerity of Azerbaijan's intention to achieve peace. Moreover, the continued arbitrary, false interpretations of the negotiations and the avoidance of implementing the agreements make an impression that Azerbaijan intends to undermine the peace process and continue its policy of ethnic cleansing using force," the Armenian Foreign Minister stated.

“Caucasus Watch” is seeking local specialists from Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and the North Caucasus region, to assist our research endeavours and help enrich our content.

“Caucasus Watch” is an independent platform, which provides coverage of recent developments in various locations of the Caucasus region for the German and overall European stakeholders. We are an international team of Caucasus enthusiasts and are currently looking for local contributors who focus on social, economic, political and security dynamics of the said region.

The platform offers: I) a flexible format of cooperation, as well as competitive remuneration; II) access to English and German speaking readership in the wider European region; III) an opportunity to join the network of regional specialists through the initiatives and events to be organized by the Caucasus Watch and partner institutions.
