Georgia tightens up Covid-19 restrictions following rise of cases

The Georgian government reacted rapidly by banning social gatherings of more than 10 people, which includes large birthdays, weddings, funeral feasts and other public and ritual events, indoors as well as outdoors. In addition, cultural and sports events with the participation of more than 200 people will also be banned.

“Caucasus Watch” is seeking local specialists from Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and the North Caucasus region, to assist our research endeavours and help enrich our content.
